This lead mohamed to study with master drummer aliou sylla, and to teach students travelling from europe, america and australia. Growing up surrounded by guinea's rich and vibrant musical tradition, dun duns, studying djembe, mohamed began an apprenticeship with internationally renowned guinean master drummer ton ton sylla, it became his passion from an early age. The course covers a expansive variety of conventional rhythms from Guinea, West Africa, involving djembe accompaniments and solos, breaks, dun accompaniments and songs.
