East Ivanhoe Preschool is a community kindergarten that has been providing a incredible learning environment for children since 1958. Currently, we run two groups of four year impaired kindergarten, for children in the year prior they attend primary school (15 hours per week) and two three year impaired kindergarten session (5 hours per week). The kindergarten space is also designed in a manner that encourages collaboration, communication and exploration. Kate comes from a family of teachers and welcomes the recent policy developments that admit Hasty Childhood as a pivotal time in a child’s overall development. She believes it is a marvelous time to be teaching in this dynamic field and loves active at this vast Kinder with engaged children, supportive and involved families and one of the maximum beautiful playrooms that she has ever worked in. With an involvement at MIPS that stretches from parent, to holding key positions on the Committee of Management over numerous years, and now teacher, Liz has a assets of knowledge and experience about our Kinder. We appreciate building ongoing relationships with businesses to build stronger community connections.
