Dr Ross Dineen is a director of Dineen Westcott Moore Audiology, having joined the practice in 1994.He is an experienced Audiologist, with specialist interests in aural rehabilitation, tinnitus assessment and management, and hearing conservation. Ross has a commitment to developing community awareness and understanding of the many issues involved in hearing rehabilitation. As a consequence of this experience, over the last decade he has worked with the construction unions in Melbourne on a series of research studies. He regularly gives lectures to audiology students and practicing audiologists on the clinical assessment and management of intricate tinnitus clients. Kate worked for Australian Hearing in Rockhampton for a concise time prior to joining a private practice in Central Queensland. Kate is particularly interested in the effective management of acquired hearing loss and is passionate about tailoring individual aural rehabilitation programs to suit the hearing needs of each person. Mary began labor as an Audiologist with Australian Hearing Services (now obvious as Australian Hearing) in Sydney, where she gained invaluable experience providing hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings to elderly and pediatric clients. In her time there, Mary had the opportunity to prosper her interest in issues affecting how hearing impaired people adapt to their hearing loss. Mary was also the manager of the HEAR Service Audiology program for three and a half years, juggling both an administrative and clinical workload. During her time there, she was capable to examine and labor within a different, predominantly public, audiology program. He provided hearing assessments and hearing help fittings to private and Office of Hearing Services clients (pensioners eligible for government funded audiology services), tinnitus counseling and a comprehensive pediatric service including newborn diagnostic testing. Damon’s special interest lies in aural rehabilitation where he has 10 years of experience occupied directly with clients as well as running workshops for other health protection professionals in communication strategies and hearing aid use and management.
